01Contact support
Storytelling is built and supported by Andrii Kolisnyk, an independent developer based in Ukraine. There is no support desk and no ticket queue — messages come to me and I answer them myself.
Email — kolisnyk7@gmail.com. I usually reply within 24–48 hours.
Write about anything: a bug, a question, a feature you want, or a privacy request. To get a useful answer faster, include:
- your device (iPhone, iPad or Mac) and its iOS or macOS version;
- the Storytelling version, shown at the bottom of the app’s settings;
- what you expected to happen, and what happened instead;
- a screenshot or screen recording, if the problem is visual.
02Common questions
How do personalised stories work?
Stories are built around the child’s name, their preferences and the themes you pick, to make bedtime feel like it belongs to them. A real name is never required — a nickname works exactly as well, and using one is encouraged.
Is Storytelling free?
Yes. Storytelling is free, with no subscription and no in-app purchases. Nothing in the app charges you and no payment details are ever requested.
The story stopped in the middle of the night
That is the sleep timer doing its job — it fades playback out and stops after the interval you chose (5, 10, 15 minutes or your own). Change or switch it off from the player. Playback can also stop if iOS interrupts the audio session: a phone call, another app taking over audio, Low Power Mode, or the battery running out.
Audio does not play, or stops when I lock the screen
Check the device is not on silent and the volume is up. Storytelling supports background playback with Lock Screen controls, so locking the screen should not stop a story. If it does, check Background App Refresh in Settings → General, and that no other app has taken over audio.
How does kids’ mode work, and what if I forget the PIN?
Kids’ mode simplifies the interface to a swipe-through carousel and locks the exit behind a PIN you set. If you forget it, Face ID or Touch ID will let you back in. It is a convenience, not a parental-control system — it does not restrict anything outside Storytelling, and it is no substitute for iOS Screen Time or Guided Access.
How do I delete my child’s data?
Deleting the app removes the child’s name, the preferences and the whole listening history from the device immediately — and that is the whole of it. Storytelling sends nothing anywhere, so there is no copy held elsewhere for me to delete. A parent or guardian can do this at any time, without asking me. See Privacy Choices.
Can I use it in another language?
The interface is available in English, Spanish, French and German, and follows your device language. You can change it in the app’s settings.
03Purchases
Storytelling is free and has no in-app purchases, so there is nothing to cancel, restore or refund. If the app ever asks you to pay for something, it is not Storytelling — close it and email me.
