Is Storytelling free?

Yes, completely. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no advertising. If the app ever asks you to pay for something, it is not Storytelling.

What age is it for?

Children roughly 2 to 10. Each story carries its own age tag — 2–4, 3–5, 3–6, 4–7 and so on — so you can pick one that fits.

Does the story stop when my child falls asleep?

Yes. Set a sleep timer for 5, 10, 15 minutes or your own interval and the audio fades out gradually rather than cutting off, so the ending does not wake them.

Is there a kid-safe mode?

Yes — a simplified swipe-through carousel with the exit locked behind a PIN, recoverable with Face ID. It is a convenience for handing over the device, not a substitute for Screen Time or supervision.

Does Storytelling collect data about my child?

Very little, and a real name is never required — a nickname works. The name, preferences and listening history stay on the device, and the app contains no analytics SDK. See the privacy policy.
