Common questions

Is Flunio free?

There is a free plan with a daily allowance of grammar checks, flashcard reviews and conversations, plus the dictionary and starter vocabulary. Flunio Premium removes the limits. Current prices are shown in the app before you confirm.

Does Flunio require an account?

No. There is no account and no sign-in. Your progress lives on your device, which also means deleting the app deletes everything.

Can I actually speak to it?

Yes — that is the core feature. You hold a real-time spoken conversation with an AI tutor in a scenario you choose, and get scored on fluency, grammar and vocabulary afterwards.

Can I use Flunio offline?

Partly. Flashcards, vocabulary and the dictionary work offline. Conversations and grammar checking need a connection, because they are processed by an online AI service.

Is the CEFR score official?

No. Flunio’s levels and scores are an in-app estimate to guide your practice. They are not an accredited assessment and carry no standing with any school, employer or examining body.

What happens to my voice?

Speech is sent to the Google Gemini API to be transcribed, answered and scored, then the result comes back to your device. It is not permanently stored on any server, and since there is no account it carries no identity. See the privacy policy.
