Flunio Privacy Choices
How to delete what Flunio holds and switch off what you would rather not have on. Flunio has no accounts, so most of this is immediate and needs no request.

01Do it yourself, in the app
- Delete everything — remove the app. Your vocabulary, review schedule, streaks, conversation history and scores are all on the device and go with it. There is no account to close first.
- Revoke microphone access — Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Flunio. Written practice, flashcards and the dictionary keep working without it.
- Turn off notifications — in the app, or Settings → Notifications → Flunio.
- Stop sending anything for processing — use the offline parts of the app. Speech and text only leave the device when you start a conversation or submit text for correction.
02What deletion actually removes
- Learning data
- WhyCEFR level, vocabulary, review schedule, streaks, past conversation scores. Stored on the device.
- Where it goesDeleting the app erases it. Immediate, no request.
- Speech and text sent for processing
- WhyProcessed to produce your transcript, correction and score, and returned.
- Where it goesNot stored by me. Held by the AI provider under its own retention schedule.
- Subscription status
- WhyKept by Apple and RevenueCat so a subscription can still be restored.
- Where it goesTheirs to hold, under their own policies.
03One honest limitation
Flunio identifies you as little as possible, which is good for your privacy and awkward for a data request: most of what exists is not linked to anything I could look you up by. If you email asking what is held about you, the truthful answer is usually "nothing I can tie to you".
That is why the self-service routes above matter more here than a request form does. What sits on your device you control completely and instantly, and it is very nearly everything there is.
04Your rights, and how to use them
Depending on where you live, you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. In California you also have the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
To make any request, email kolisnyk7@gmail.com with what you want done. I answer these myself, within 30 days.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the EEA that is your national supervisory authority, in the UK the Information Commissioner’s Office, and in Ukraine the Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
