Flunio is built and supported by Andrii Kolisnyk, an independent developer based in Ukraine. There is no support desk and no ticket queue — messages come to me and I answer them myself.

Write about anything: a bug, a question, a feature you want, or a privacy request. To get a useful answer faster, include:
- your device (iPhone, iPad or Mac) and its iOS or macOS version;
- the Flunio version, shown at the bottom of the app’s settings;
- what you expected to happen, and what happened instead;
- a screenshot or screen recording, if the problem is visual.
02Common questions
How do I start learning with Flunio?
Download Flunio and complete the onboarding. You take a quick five-question placement test to find your CEFR level (A1–C2), choose your interests, and set a daily goal. Flunio then generates personalised content for you straight away.
Is Flunio free to use?
Yes. The free plan includes a daily allowance of grammar checks, flashcard reviews and conversations, plus daily word notifications, the built-in dictionary and starter vocabulary packs. Flunio Premium unlocks unlimited access, full conversation analysis, all writing styles, pronunciation feedback and progress tracking. Current prices are shown in the app and on the App Store before you confirm.
How does the free trial work?
The weekly plan includes a 3-day free trial for first-time subscribers, with full access to every feature during it. Cancel before the three days are up and you are not charged; otherwise the subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial. The monthly and yearly plans do not include a trial and are charged on purchase.
How does the AI grammar checker work?
Type or paste any English text and Flunio analyses it for grammar, spelling, punctuation and style. Each correction comes with a confidence score and an explanation, and you can choose from five writing styles: General, Academic, Business, Casual or Creative. Over time it spots your recurring error patterns and builds targeted lessons around them.
How do voice conversations work?
Flunio uses real-time AI voice to simulate natural English conversation. Pick a scenario with its own persona, goal and setting, and talk. Afterwards you get a detailed analysis with fluency, grammar and vocabulary scores, plus specific grammar highlights that feed back into your learning. Treat the scores as practice feedback, not an accredited assessment.
What CEFR levels are supported?
All of them, A1 (Beginner) through C2 (Mastery). The adaptive placement test sets your starting level and Flunio adjusts flashcards, lessons and conversation difficulty as you improve. You can also set your level manually at any time.
What languages is the interface available in?
Flunio’s interface is fully localised in 14 languages: English, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Simplified Chinese and Simple English. Set it during onboarding or change it later in settings.
Is my data stored securely, and can I delete it?
Your learning data — progress, flashcards, grammar history — is stored locally on your device. Text and speech submitted for processing goes to the AI service and is not permanently stored on external servers. Flunio has no accounts, so there is no profile to delete: removing the app removes everything it holds. See Privacy Choices for the detail.
The microphone is not working in a conversation
Check that microphone access is allowed in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Flunio. Conversations also need a network connection, since speech is processed by an online AI service. Grammar checking, flashcards and the dictionary keep working without the microphone.
03Purchases and subscriptions
Everything you buy in Flunio is billed by Apple, not by me. That means Apple holds the payment details and Apple issues the refunds — but it also means the controls are in one predictable place.
- Cancel a subscription — open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, then pick the app and Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period you have paid for runs to its end.
- Deleting Flunio does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first, or it keeps renewing.
- Restore a purchase on a new device — reinstall Flunio, open it while signed in to the same Apple Account, and use Restore Purchases in the app’s settings.
- Ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Only Apple can return the money, but email me first if something went wrong and I will help where I can.
If a purchase does not unlock after restoring, email me with the date of purchase and I will look into it.
