01Who we are

TimeTill is a mobile app available on the Apple App Store, built and published by Andrii Kolisnyk, an independent developer based in Ukraine. It helps you track important events, deadlines and milestones with customisable visual themes and cross-device synchronisation.

Under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation I am the data controller for the data described here — the person who decides what is collected and why, and the person you hold accountable for it. Questions go to kolisnyk7@gmail.com and reach me directly.

03How we collect it

  • Directly from you — the countdown events and customisation settings you enter.
  • Through device permissions you grant, for notifications and app functionality.
  • Firebase Analytics — app usage and crash reporting.
  • App Store payment systems — Apple.
  • Cloud sync services — cross-device synchronisation.

04Why we collect it

  • To provide countdown tracking and event management.
  • To sync your data across multiple devices.
  • To enable customisation with unlimited colour schemes and typography.
  • To improve app performance and fix bugs.
  • To track usage patterns and enhance the experience.
  • To enable premium features through in-app purchases.
  • To send notifications for your countdown events.

05Legal basis for processing

Under the GDPR, each purpose needs a lawful basis. TimeTill relies on three.

  • Consent — for analytics, notifications and any optional marketing.
  • Performance of a contract — to provide the core app features and premium services you have paid for.
  • Legitimate interests — for internal analytics, app improvements and keeping the app working.

06Sharing with third parties

  • Firebase (Google) — analytics and crash reporting.
  • Cloud storage providers — secure data storage and synchronisation.
  • Apple — payment processing and app distribution.
  • Notification services — delivering countdown alerts and reminders.

All providers are bound by data protection agreements and process data only as instructed.

07International data transfers

Some data may be transferred outside the EU and EEA — to the United States, for example. Where it is, the transfer relies on:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs);
  • adequacy decisions by the European Commission;
  • contractual and technical safeguards protecting your data.

08How we get your consent

  • By requesting notification permissions in the app.
  • By presenting this Privacy Policy during onboarding.
  • By offering opt-in choices for analytics and cross-device sync.
  • By providing clear options for premium feature subscriptions.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the app’s settings.

09How we protect your data

  • Encryption for data in transit and at rest.
  • Secure cloud infrastructure with strict access controls.
  • Regular security updates and monitoring.
  • Data minimisation — only what is necessary is collected.
  • Secure authentication for account-based features.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and no service can promise otherwise.

10Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the EU or EEA, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • delete your account and the data associated with it;
  • withdraw consent at any time;
  • object to or restrict processing;
  • data portability — receive your data in a structured format;
  • file a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.

To exercise any of these, use the in-app deletion options or email kolisnyk7@gmail.com.

11Data retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service, or as the law requires.

  • Event data — until you delete the events or your account.
  • Analytics data — up to 2 years, for app improvement.
  • Account data — until you request deletion.

You can delete your account at any time from the app’s settings.

12Notifications and reminders

TimeTill may send you notifications about:

  • countdown milestones and event reminders;
  • app updates and new features;
  • premium subscription information.

You can control notification preferences through your device settings and within the app.

13Children’s privacy

TimeTill is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us immediately at kolisnyk7@gmail.com.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:

  • we will notify you in-app and by email, where we have one;
  • the updated policy will always be accessible in the app’s settings, and at this address;
  • material changes will be highlighted and will require your acknowledgment.
