01Do it yourself, in the app

• See everything — it is all on screen already. Courses and medications on the Courses tab, every dose you confirmed or skipped on the History tab. There is no hidden profile behind it.
• Change or delete a medication or a course — open it and edit, or delete it. Deleting a course removes its medications and its records with it.
• Remove a photograph — open the medication and choose Remove photo.
• Turn off usage analytics — Settings. This stops the SDK, opts the install out, and deletes the random install identifier, so turning it back on later starts a new profile rather than resuming the old one. It is off unless you switched it on.
• Turn off iCloud sync — Settings. DoseNext then keeps a purely local store. The change takes effect at the next launch, because whether a store mirrors is decided when it is opened.
• Turn off reminders — in the app, or Settings → Notifications → DoseNext. iOS revokes the permission immediately.
• Turn off the Lock Screen activity — Settings. It is off unless you asked for it.
• Delete everything on the device — remove the app. Courses, medications, photographs, history, refill counts and settings go with it.

02Clearing what is in your iCloud

If you had sync on, a copy lives in your own private iCloud database — mine to describe, not mine to reach. Deleting the app from one device does not empty it: another device signed in to the same Apple Account would sync it back.

• Delete it inside the app first. Delete the courses you want gone while sync is still on, and the deletion propagates to iCloud and to your other devices.
• Then remove the app from every device signed in to that Apple Account.
• Or clear it from iOS — Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, find DoseNext, and delete its data. Apple’s controls, not mine.

03What deletion actually removes

04Your rights, and how to use them

Depending on where you live, you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. In California you also have the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

To make any request, email kolisnyk7@gmail.com with what you want done. I answer these myself, within 30 days.

You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the EEA that is your national supervisory authority, in the UK the Information Commissioner’s Office, and in Ukraine the Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.

05One honest limitation

DoseNext identifies you as little as possible, which is good for your privacy and awkward for a data request: most of what exists is not linked to anything I could look you up by. If you email asking what is held about you, the truthful answer is usually "nothing I can tie to you".

That is why the self-service routes above matter more here than a request form does. What sits on your device you control completely and instantly, and it is very nearly everything there is.
